Ventnor Sports Cafe

We went for game one of the World Series.  This is a fine place to watch a sporting event (especially if you are a Phillies fan).  It’s a less than fine place to find a cheap beer.  PBR bottles for $3.50 plus tax, Yeungling drafts (cleverly called Philly Lagers on the receipt) for $4 plus tax.  Thus the PBR barely qualifies as cheap.  They have some good beer available, including Two Hearted on tap, but they don’t print any prices.  I am pretty sure the prices for the cheap(er) stuff changes nightly depending on whether they need to offer good bargains to try to draw in a crowd.  In sum, fun place for sports, unpredictable for cheapness.
